Therapeutic, alignment-based yoga classes for body awareness, breath and steady practice
Yoga classes give rhythm. They help you return to practice regularly, move with more awareness, breathe more consciously and gradually build a steadier relationship with yourself.
At Beata Yoga Harmony, classes are therapeutic, precise and grounded in Iyengar Evolution Yoga — an alignment-based method where postures are built from the foundations and the body is guided with care.
The aim is not to perform advanced shapes. The aim is to learn how to practise intelligently, safely and with attention: how to stand, sit, move, breathe, rest and observe what is happening in the body and mind.
Classes are suitable for beginners as well as experienced practitioners. You do not need to be flexible. You only need willingness to practise, listen and begin where you are.

The practice is therapeutic, alignment-based and rooted in Iyengar Evolution Yoga.
Postures are not rushed. They are built carefully from the foundations, with attention to the feet, legs, pelvis, spine, hands, shoulders, neck, head and breath.
Active foundations
- standing poses
- seated poses
- twists
- forward bends
- back bends
Support and adaptation
- supported postures
- simple inversions or preparations where appropriate
- restorative practice
- intelligent effort
Breath and quietening
- breath awareness
- relaxation
- preparation for seated practice
- preparation for meditation
The class may be active, restorative or a balance of both, depending on the group, the season and the needs of the students.
The focus is always the same: to practise with awareness, support and intelligent effort.

Why regular classes matter
A single class can make you feel better. Regular practice changes your relationship with the body.
Through repetition, you begin to notice
- how you stand
- how you sit
- how you breathe
- where you hold tension
- where you overwork
- where you collapse
Practice becomes self-observation
- where you need strength
- where you need support
- how your mind reacts to effort
- how relaxation deepens the whole practice
Yoga becomes more than stretching. It becomes a method of self-observation and self-care.
With time, regular practice can support better posture awareness, steadier breathing, calmer attention and a more intelligent relationship with movement, rest and daily life.
What you may experience through regular practice
With consistent attendance, you may experience gradual changes in body awareness, steadiness, breath and confidence in practice.
- better body awareness
- more confidence in movement
- improved understanding of alignment
- less unnecessary strain
- more conscious breathing
- greater steadiness and balance
- gradual improvement in mobility and strength
- deeper relaxation
- calmer nervous-system rhythm
- more awareness of stress patterns
- renewed motivation for self-practice
- a more grounded relationship with yourself
Every person experiences practice differently. The aim is not to promise a quick fix.
The aim is to create a steady rhythm where yoga can support body, breath and mind over time.
Therapeutic, but not medical treatment
These classes have a therapeutic approach, but they are still group yoga classes.
They can support body awareness, breath, posture, relaxation, movement and self-practice. They do not replace medical diagnosis, physiotherapy, psychotherapy or individual yoga therapy.
Please enquire before joining if you have:
- acute or severe pain
- recent injury or surgery
- neurological symptoms
- serious medical conditions
- significant fatigue
- pregnancy
- mobility limitations
- anything that may affect your ability to practise safely
A mature yoga practice includes awareness, patience and discernment. The aim is not to force the body. The aim is to practise in a way that supports steadiness, resilience and long-term wellbeing.
